School Meals

Hot dinners are cooked on the premises by our school cook. For information about school meals, including the menu, visit the ISS website (the hot meals contractor for West Berkshire).

Meals cost £2.30 per day. Cheques should be made payable to ISS. School meals should be paid for in advance, if possible. Payment can be made weekly, monthly or termly. Please note that if no payment is made within two days of a child having lunch then the school cook will not be able to offer a meal on the third day. If a child is absent from school a note will be sent to the school cook, and a meal will be credited to the child's account.

Parents may now order and pay for meals using the ISS online ordering system.

If your child is in Reception, Y1 and Y2 in September, they are entitled to a free school meal every day.

Free School Meals

Registering your child for Free School Meals means that we get extra money to support your child in their learning. The funding is called 'Pupil Premium' . For every child registered at our school, we receive £900 and the money is used to provide resources and extra support for your child, so that they can achieve their potential. Of course, your child would get a free hot meal every day, if you want them to have one, but that is your choice.

You can register online or call 01635 42400 to apply. Just answer a few simple questions to register. No paperwork required.

ISS must comply with with Department for Educations Healthy Eating Standards with the menu and food choices.
